His youngest daughter vanished, while his sons reacted in starkly different ways. The elder, then known as Mardit son of Mardit, renounced both his father’s name and the traditions that bound him. Fueled by anger, he mastered ice magic, forging horns of Black Ice and pursuing the truth behind his father’s quest — bearing his new name: Blackhorn.
